I have been waiting for this for a while. Only 5 more days until one of my closest friends ever- I call her my fabulous forever friend- is going to be here. She gets here on Thursday night and leaves Monday afternoon. This will be the longest period of time we have together since the summer before our sixth grade year. We have a lot planned:

• A field trip with my German class to Freiburg. It will be interesting since she doesn't speak any German!
• Attending my sister's middle school play
• Many movies including Legally Blonde and a few other classics
• Fun photo shoots
• Walks with my dog in the woods
• Possible trip to Basel to shop and go to Starbucks
• Fun late-night chats about anything and everything

I can't wait for her to get here and I am just praying that I do not come down with any of the many sicknesses spreading like wildfire at my school.
