Hey! I am currently sitting in our guest house in Burkina Faso. Our trip has been quite a roller coaster and I can't wait to write all about it. We have battled heat, sickness, dirt, mosquitoes and thirst (haha love the drama!) and had a lot of funny/life-changing/amazing moments in between. It has been a once in a lifetime experience for sure!!! One thing that is hard right now is that the government has just been overthrown here and there is a lot of unsureness. We had plans to go to a crocodile farm and a market and out to dinner today but because of the active gunfire we have not been able to leave the guest house all day. We are all sad and disappointed and wondering what is going to happen. Tomorrow will most likely include a lot of waiting which is really hard. Please pray that we would be safe and that we would be able to do a few last things before we leave. But please pray the most for our flight that it wouldn't be too messed up because a lot of people on my team have faraway places that they need to go and we all will be ready to go home and see our families- especially the boarding students. I don't know what is going to happen but I do know that God has a plan and I pray that His will would be done above all else. Maybe we will be able to share the gospel with someone through this experience or maybe He has lessons to teach us (I am actually sure He does). Thanks for joining me in prayer! Love you all :)
