As most of you know, one of my dearest friends came to visit this past weekend. We had a fabulous time and it will take me a VERY long time to go through all our pictures and write all the blog posts so I decided to do it in a few different parts. This first part covers our first evening together and Friday.

Courtney arrived Thursday evening with only the most minor complication and that started our whirlwind of a weekend.

We had a nice St Patrick's Day dinner with the family, hats and all!!

After working out some details for the field trip the next day, we just hung out and talked until we went to sleep. It was interesting to get used to working around someone else's routine but it worked out ok. We set out on the field trip, not knowing exactly how hard it would be to try to communicate for a whole day without speaking English but we sort of managed and my teacher even let us speak English for 15 minutes at lunch which was incredibly nice. We spent the day trying to complete my assignments while also trying to have some fun and enjoy the city we were visiting. All in all it was a fun day with only a few frustrating moments.

After school we visited some dear friends of mine and then we walked the dog in the woods and got a few fun pics!

Then we enjoyed the Middle School Play "The Mouse that Roared"

How fun!
